A Soldier's Song archiveWhile the Gulf War was a media bonanza, The Falklands conflict with Argentina in 1982 was a well kept secret. But one paratrooper remembers all; the death, the fear, the black humour. The horror of war is brought to stage which is deeply disturbing at times and also extremely funny, employing the dark 'squaddie' humour to offset the darkness. Contains strong language.
