It's just a day. Just an ordinary day. At the beginning of the day, Fran is late for work. At the end of the day, Brendan is bleeding out in the street. It's a day where time begins to flow forwards and spiral backwards for these two strangers. Music pulses. Beats blast. Fran progresses through the worst day of her life.
