A participatory trail around the city and a moving journey in which audiences catch glimpses of the city s inhabitants as they say their goodbyes to their home and each other . Moments Designed For a City is a series of delicate interventions littered throughout the centre of Leeds. It begins at Leeds City Art Gallery where audience members are encouraged to find video piece ?Poised in the Infinite Ocean where they receive their first instruction. Best encountered alone or as a pair, this performance has been designed as fleeting moments and messages that weave throughout the night. As the chaos unfolds Moments Designed For a City will take participants away from the crowds and on an individual nostalgic adventure to haunts such as The Mint Hotel and a local tattoo parlour. Familiar sights and sounds will reveal unexpected secrets, and they will discover a different and wistful side to a city they thought they knew so well.
