Details

Fooling is a form of solo improvisation where the performer unleashes and explores the cast of characters who normally live inside their head, freeing them up to come out to play. The performer acts as mediator, dialoguing with the characters, stepping in and out of them to find out what they've come to say. Perhaps it'll be a night of poetic poignancy, perhaps it will be a night of utter nonsense, there's absolutely no knowing what will happen. The Fool, approaching life with openness and curiosity, walks into the empty space and says "Wow, look what I found!". Come and share in that discovery as each week a selection of fools present us with their musings. These evenings will be unpredictable, daring and just a little bit dangerous as performers from Bristol let loose the stirrings of their solo work for you to mull and feedback upon. Bring an open mind and a playful nature.
