International Women's Day - Charity Cabaret

Work:: International Women's Day (S01355757126)

Production:: Charity Cabaret (T0116044431)

The legendary charity cabaret marking International Women's Day takes place live again, at The Acorn Penzance, on Friday, March 4th. An annual institution, due to lockdown restrictions last year the 10th-anniversary event had to be held online, so the organisers are delighted to be able to invite you back into the building, for an irreverent, fun-filled evening's entertainment. Hosted by the inimitable Two Marys (whose on-stage antics are worth the ticket price alone) in true cabaret fashion you'll be treated to a cornucopia of variety acts including jazz singer Johanna Graham, Polly Motley of Cscape Dance, a vibrant crop of spoken-worders representing SproutSpoken, hand-balancing and aerial silks, comedy skits, cold water synchro swimmers(!) and much much more.

CORONAVIRUS: All venues in the UK were shut down on March 16, 2020, and the restrictions were finally lifted on July 19, 2021. It is important to mention that the UK Theatre Web archive listings (iUKTDb) from March 2020 to July 2021 might not be accurate due to the lack of information regarding rescheduled and cancelled shows.
