Eat Your Heart Out

Eat Your Heart Out

Work:: Eat Your Heart Out (S01694296110)

.

Production:: (T481641822)

A frank and sharply funny play about one woman's journey to the brink and back again. Bel Jones is 17 and fearless. She breaks hearts and turns heads from the back of the 67 bus. She shares secrets, cheesy chips and cigarettes with Chantelle and Nicole. She loves Cardi B, Candy Crush and Dean Martin's eyebrow slit. She hates revision, the lower sixth boys and how her body looks in the bathroom mirror. Bel has a huge hunger for life?that is, until she loses her appetite. Devised by a group of eating disorder sufferers and survivors, Eat Your Heart Out is an account of teenage obsession and addiction. It is also an urgent and uplifting appeal for self-acceptance. Expect balloons, smarties and bad behaviour.

CORONAVIRUS: All venues in the UK were shut down on March 16, 2020, and the restrictions were finally lifted on July 19, 2021. It is important to mention that the UK Theatre Web archive listings (iUKTDb) from March 2020 to July 2021 might not be accurate due to the lack of information regarding rescheduled and cancelled shows.
