Details

Parisian courtesan Violetta is recovering from illness when she meets Alfredo, a young man entirely devoted to her happiness. The lovers abandon Paris for a blissful life in the countryside. But their idyll is interrupted by Alfredo's mother, who fears that Violetta's reputation is putting her family's prospects at risk.
