Details

We are interested in making opera from incidental, minor stories. A newspaper cutting - "Wind blows kite-boy half a mile" - led us to St Osyth. This story led to other, unexpected stories, original texts and scores to work from - first hand accounts dating back 400 years, sentimental poems, letters and stories. Part of the power of this piece is that all these stories exist in one location.
