Witness two unusual one woman shows performed by two women who were inspired to 'just get up and do it' - Gina formed The Raincoats and Helen The Chefs. Some 20 years later, these shows would particularly appeal to women of all ages. Voxpop Puella explores the seven ages of women, interspersing a film and a song that tells a story. Headspace is a personal tale of misremembered events and life's absurdities, combining video projections and live musical performance with pre-recordings. In their detail there are so many things that we all recognise. But shows are passionate, humorous, clever and personal. The evening will also include a screening of The Hill by Penny Gillis, a lyrical film about an old woman walking to the top of her steep garden. She remembers what happened in the garden in previous years and as she reaches the top the viewer begins to wonder if these are her memories or is something else happening there...
