British composer and jazz musician Colin Towns' new band perform tracks from their debut album Stand Well Back. An Anglo/German sextet formed in 2010, their music reveals roots in everything from fusion and progressive rock to cinematic classicism, minimalism and funk, all wrapped in a layer of strict compositional detail and improvisational space.
