A year after Dorothy returned from the Marvellous Land of Oz, all is not well. Not only are her guardians forced to mortgage their farm, but in faraway Oz there is dirty work afoot. Summoned back to Oz by Glinda, Dorothy is given the task of finding the lost Princess. Only she can restore order. But will Dorothy succeed, even with the help of her old friends the Tin Man and the Scarecrow? Will the evil witch Mombi thwart Glinda's plans? Does the dreaded Nome King intend conquering the whole of Oz?
