The once successful touring freak show Riley s Odditorium is no longer pulling in the crowds. In a time when freak shows are out of favour in a society obsessed with beauty and normality, when the cheap novelty mermaid act is the only 'turn making money, owner and caller Robert Riley must look for a new way to attract new audiences. But what lengths will Riley go to save the failing show and protect his family of freaks from the harsh reality of life outside the freak show?
