The Nutcracker archiveMagical, musical and hilarious, The Nutcracker features a colony of East-End gangster mice who wreak havoc on the human world by turning into wood anyone who dares to get in their way. Their opponents include the affable but slightly peculiar Uncle Drosselmeier; his nephew, Elias, whose teeth are strong enough to break the hardest nut; the kind-hearted Clara, and Kurt, the evil Mouse King with extraordinary powers, who is out to avenge the accidental death of his beloved mother. This delectable romp culminates in a stupendous battle between the toys and the mouse king but don't fear - good triumphs over evil in the end!
