Based on the life of Sammy Davis Jnr. Ten young, gifted Song and Dance men and women are hopeful auditionees desperate to appear in a forthcoming West End musical Sammy. Through their eyes, we view the life of a man who 'had the wrong looks, height, face and race' to make it, but is now arguably known worldwide as 'the greatest entertainer that ever lived.'
