Moby Dick archiveSigning up on a whaler out of Nantucket, Ishmael soon discovers that Captain Ahab has a monomaniacal obsession to destroy Moby-Dick, the monstrous white whale that tore off his leg on a previous voyage. Before long the entire crew of "mongrel renegades, castaways and cannibals" have become caught up in their captain's blood lust. Only Starbuck, the first mate, foresees the doomed outcome...
