Big Nose archiveBased on Rostand's classic story of Cyrano de Bergerac and set in the Eastern Caribbean in 1957, the show follows the fortunes of Clovis Dibiset, a brilliant Calypso singer and King Of The Carnival. With his love for his childhood friend unrequited and lost to one of his Calypso partners, Clovis seeks fortune in England, but as he discovers, the London of the late fifties is a far cry from Trinidad. With original songs and music in the Calypso style and plenty of carnival and colour, we promise an original and hugely entertaining show that puts a bit of Caribbean sun into the September.
