Meyrick, the volatile owner of the bric-a-brac shop in Swansea, wields a curious influence over two young men - Johnnie, a man-child with a voice made in heaven who he found on the streets, and Leyton, a teenager, whose confusion and vulnerability holds the key to their ruin.
