This reworking of Red, in association with Jatinder Verma, continues Sonia Sabri’s quest to present Kathak dance in a new light; retaining the purity and integrity of this classical north Indian style and fusing it with contemporary innovations and ideas. The original production, earlier in 2005, secured acclaim for Sabri‘s work, earning her a reputation for excitement and originality.
