Anant - Endless is a personal journey that reveals Urja's artistic journey from India to the UK, using the classical Kathak style. This is a solo performance presented by Urja in a traditional context.
I, within is a contemporary dance production which puts a bold twist on traditional Kathak vocabulary. Performed as a duet, it explores the different roles of women in modern society through paradoxical reflection, two women as part of one whole, demonstrating the multifaceted nature of our individual identities. I, within was originally created under the working title HATS and was presented at The Place as part of Resolution! in 2010.
