Arch 8 Dance Group - Double Bill: No man is An Island/Tetris

Work:: Arch 8 Dance Group (S01508578679)

Production:: Double Bill: No man is An Island/Tetris (T02062898941)

Inspired by playground games and the casual way that kids fling themselves about, his dancers tumble and contort, exploring the limits of their bodies. To put it simply, it's awesome. Tetris is a piece of dance theatre for children based on the eponymous computer game of strategy and fun. Four dancers work as a perfect unit, uniquely dependent on one another, their legs and arms twisted together in complex knots. No Man is an Island is a fascinating duet where one dancer's body supports the other throughout, so his feet never come into contact with the ground. Arch 8 Choreographer Erik Kaiel's work is unorthodox, acrobatic and perfect for children (and grown-ups) who can't sit still.

CORONAVIRUS: All venues in the UK were shut down on March 16, 2020, and the restrictions were finally lifted on July 19, 2021. It is important to mention that the UK Theatre Web archive listings (iUKTDb) from March 2020 to July 2021 might not be accurate due to the lack of information regarding rescheduled and cancelled shows.
