Something in the Air

Work:: Something in the Air (S02025537552)

An interactive, multisensory aerial show for young people with profound and multiple learning disabilities or an autistic spectrum disorder Here young people and their carers enjoy a total theatre experience, suspended in colourful, tactile pods or 'nests' that fly through perfumed air alongside aerialists twirling on lengths of silk. Six paired nest seats, each containing one child and their carer, bounce on bungees or are winched through a multisensory mid-air kinaesthetic circus, particularly liberating for those who spend much of their lives confined to wheelchairs, braces or splints.

Production:: (T0678994639)

Due to the nature of this show there is a maximum capacity of six young people and six adult companions who can participate in each performance, although a viewing area is also available for any audience who wish to keep their feet firmly on the ground.
