Hamlet thought brevity the soul of wit, the Japanese that haiku was the highest form of art. LOST has selected thirty 5min plays to demonstrate just how much theatre can be made in 5min. The Festival’s programme incorporates an exciting variety of genres and themes, and will give us a valuable insight into the next generation of British playwrights and directors. There will be a judges panel in attendance at each performance who, after seeing all 30 performers, will choose our festival winners. The festival winners will go on to have their pieces filmed professionally by the award winning team of Paul Kafno (Producer), Adrian Brown (Director), Steve Leigh (Editor) and Robert Ides (Production Manager).

CORONAVIRUS: All venues in the UK were shut down on March 16, 2020, and the restrictions were finally lifted on July 19, 2021. It is important to mention that the UK Theatre Web archive listings (iUKTDb) from March 2020 to July 2021 might not be accurate due to the lack of information regarding rescheduled and cancelled shows.
