Pandora's Box

Pandora's Box

Work:: Pandora's Box (S01117629794)

Production:: (T0711420114)

Pandora has everything: a loving husband, beautiful child, and happy home. But when a mysterious "Real Life Box" arrives, her orderly world is turned upside down. Under the influence of the box, Pandora's moral compass wavers and motherly instincts vanish as she enters the murky world of television, advertising, and consumerism. The box (with help from her more worldly sister) tells Pandora what she needs: a hair cut, cigarettes, a drink, other boxes. Until we are compelled to ask: what will she give up to have everything that money can buy? And will she find her way back again?

CORONAVIRUS: All venues in the UK were shut down on March 16, 2020, and the restrictions were finally lifted on July 19, 2021. It is important to mention that the UK Theatre Web archive listings (iUKTDb) from March 2020 to July 2021 might not be accurate due to the lack of information regarding rescheduled and cancelled shows.
