Coming Up Later - Flocking/Crowd Joy/Quartets

Coming Up Later

Work:: Coming Up Later (S02061217633)

Production:: Flocking/Crowd Joy/Quartets (T01138376549)

Flocking/Crowd - Physical performer and theatre maker Rea Mole’s past work includes Indiscreet, a collaboration with Deborah Pearson that became one of the hits of BAC’s One on One festival, and collaborations at Stoke Newington International Airport. Aiming to provide the energy of a live, loved up and exhilarated crowd, a beat boxing classical dance ensemble will take you on a rhythmic journey through the atmosphere of clubland. Quartets - Once the youngest ever resident director at National Theatre Studio, in 2010 Suba founded Custom/Practice, an Arts Council funded, RSC-supported company, which tours cutting-edge classical work for new audiences, all by the age of 26. This sexy "pop theatre" reworking of Heiner Mueller’s Quartets (itself in turn based on Les Liaison Dangereuses) promises "a Madonna concert meets the Royal Vauxhall Tavern".

CORONAVIRUS: All venues in the UK were shut down on March 16, 2020, and the restrictions were finally lifted on July 19, 2021. It is important to mention that the UK Theatre Web archive listings (iUKTDb) from March 2020 to July 2021 might not be accurate due to the lack of information regarding rescheduled and cancelled shows.
