Adventures in Wonderland

Adventures in Wonderland

Work:: Adventures in Wonderland (S388430384)

Production:: (T168573732)

After an Autumn sell-out run Adventures In Wonderland is returning to be staged in two site-specific locations. Firstly we'll be exploring the unknown backstage areas of an extraordinary Art Deco theatre - The Catford Broadway, and then allowing audiences through the grand entranceway of the Grade II listed Manor House in Hither Green. But banish those Disney images; this is the dark, dangerous and anarchic Wonderland of Carroll’s imagination. This is a site specific sensory spectacle for adults and young people where you can follow the strange characters and backwards riddles to discover scenes, installations and games relating to Alice’s adventure. The audience feedback for the initial run of the show was incredible - again and again people said it's "a playground for grown-ups." Experience the pool of tears, take tea with the Mad Hatter, and play croquet with the Queen of Hearts - but be sure to come last or you could lose your head. Performance Length: 2 hours, no interval.
