Comedy at the Albany

Work:: Comedy at the Albany (S0450212689)

Production:: (T0466067297)

Some of the finest comics on the circuit preview their full length shows before the 2011 Edinburgh Festival. Featuring Matt Green and Edward Aczel. After two years of packed audiences at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, circuit regular and TV star Matt Green previews his new 60-minute show bringing us his unique views on everything from politics to TV shopping channels. Next up is an hour of moderately amusing stand-up from 'Britain's greatest anti-comedian' (The Guardian) Edward Aczel as he attempts to gain some meaningful TV exposure (touch wood). Aczel will reveal his backstage demands, Comedy Do’s and Don’ts, and his penchant for ad libbing. He also plans on improvising a bit (with varying levels of success).

CORONAVIRUS: All venues in the UK were shut down on March 16, 2020, and the restrictions were finally lifted on July 19, 2021. It is important to mention that the UK Theatre Web archive listings (iUKTDb) from March 2020 to July 2021 might not be accurate due to the lack of information regarding rescheduled and cancelled shows.
