Four finely drawn miniatures for one actor, through interaction with unseen characters, Ruth, Naomi, Miriam and Deborah reveal their emotional responses to motherhood. We share the highs and lows of the un-married mother, the mother who never was, the failed mother and the earth mother. Jacquie Crago has collaborated with pianist Robert Lind to give these characters a voice.
