Scarlet Shambles: It Used to be Me

Work:: Scarlet Shambles: It Used to be Me (S536954421)

Brave, honest and funny, this physical noir from newcomer Charmaine Wombwell explores the desperation and humour of heartbreak, inspired by the dark clown within us all. Scarlett's moving tales and beautiful, earthy songs reveal the sometimes-fleeting connections between people that can make a mark on our lives forever. Scarlett Shambles is the comic creation of musician and theatre-maker Charmaine Wombwell. The foundation of Wombwell's work is song, rhythm and physical storytelling, influenced by her training in physical theatre and her childhood, growing up with Deaf parents and the Deaf community.
