Tanja Liedtke - Twelfth Floor

Tanja Liedtke

Work:: Tanja Liedtke (S1788717394)

Production:: Twelfth Floor (T384428287)

A darkly funny physical exploration of human interactions in confinement, set in a mysterious institution. Five extraordinary dancers (Australian Dance Theatre and DV8) play out shifting relationships of desire and power, of hope and despair. With a rich combination of dance theatre, video and a moody soundtrack from DJ Tr!p, this is a sophisticated and original work, moving effortlessly from tender, lyrical moments to brooding menace and explosive physicality. This work was Winner of Outstanding Choreography and Outstanding Female Dancer in the Australian Dance Awards 2006, and this performance is a celebration of Tanja Liedtke's choreography and life.
