Aeon is the final piece of the ground-breaking trilogy, commissioned by London's South Bank Centre, which began with The Millennarium (1998) and was followed by Sulphur 16 (1999). Where The Millennarium was water and Sulphur 16 was fire, Aeon's element is air. The work continues Random's journey into new technology with an exploration of our new experiences in the 'fourth dimension' of telepresence and virtual reality, reuniting the trilogy's dynamic design team with the idiosyncratic choreography of Random's founder Wayne McGregor performed by seven incredible hand-picked dancers.
