New Art Club was formed in 2001 by Tom Roden and Pete Shenton and is fuelled by their shared spirit of adventure. A boy is born with too much electricity swirling around inside him. They call him static boy. Though he rarely stands still. Electricity is all around us and inside us...and the great thing is it can also be used to make toast. The Electric Tales is the sparkling new dance theatre comedy from Pete Shenton and Tom Roden. Offering us dances that are either full on or full off, 'the man from the electric' explore the nature of electricity; its role within and connection to the human body and what's what about wattage. Stories of dark nights where the light is just out of reach, Power cuts and candles. A colour that's never been seen before, brighter than gold and deeper than black. Suitable for 14 years +. Contains some strong language.
