The OAE is much more than one of the world's pre-eminent period instrument ensembles. It works regularly with conductors who specialise in both early music and the modern repertoire, and has explored the work of composers from Bach to Mahler, Handel to Borodin.

Acclaimed tenor Ian Bostridge joins the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment in a programme of Bach arias. A couple of years ago star tenor Ian Bostridge joined the OAE and brought the house down, singing Handel arias with us. This season he turns his attention to Bach, performing some of the composer's most sublime and moving works for orchestra and voice.
