Dragging you back to the double-denim 90's and with a soundtrack saturated in Tamagotchi pop, I Heart Catherine Pistachio is a dangerously dark physical comedy about a square-eyed girl who wants for nothing more than Saved by the Bell star Mario Lopez. Follow Catherine as she strives to escape her Fresh Princess of Despair family life. Living with maniacal parents and a terrifying Grandfather fractured by his failed ballet career; who wouldn't want to climb into the TV? Catherine's only respite comes from her pet pony, a brave Border Collie and the determination that she'll one day share a malt shake with her Bayside High beau. Set in a suburban swamp of abuse, this fast paced production is both hilarious and heartbreaking.
