Lepers were made clean, the dumb sang, cripples threw away their crutches and danced, the blind opened their eyes, even the dead were revived. In a performance of stories and music Hugh Lupton, Laura Cannell and Adrian Lever tell the legends behind the shrines? a rich mixture of piety, bloodshed and magic, interspersed with medieval music.
