Stuttgart Ballet has been at the forefront of dance creation for decades, consistently presenting exciting and groundbreaking world premieres by leading and up-and-coming choreographers.

Made in Germany, a mixed repertory evening including seven UK premieres, all created for Stuttgart Ballet, provides the company's phenomenally talented dancers with the chance to show themselves in a wide range of contemporary work. The evening includes two works by resident choreographer Marco Goecke, one by British choreographer Douglas Lee as well as works by Mauro Bigonzetti, Itzik Galili, Christian Spuck, Demis Volpi and Edward Clug. True to its heritage, the company will also present a classic by its founder John Cranko: The Taming of the Shrew, based on William Shakespeare's famous comedy. Set to a delightful score by Domenico Scarlatti, Cranko's witty and touching masterpiece is full of spectacular dancing and hilarious, fast paced action. Running time: 2hrs 10mins (including one 20min interval)
