Dance East - Loose in Flight/Zero/Can't Bark/Shirtology

Dance East

Work:: Dance East (S872546848)

Production:: Loose in Flight/Zero/Can't Bark/Shirtology (T01663435844)

Loose in Flight - uses Kathak as the structural base, breaking out into lyrical passages of contemporary action. Khan's choreography is intelligent, compelling and beautiful to watch. Zero - A rare opportunity to see Wayne McGregor dance his solo work. Renowned for his lightning speed articulation and idiosyncratic movement language, this piece is both inventive and athletic. Can't Bark - is an energetic, eccentric and innovative solo examining the struggle of desire versus deed danced by Adam Cooper. Mixing both astute and amusing dancing Schynkel a former soloist with Rambert Dance Company, creates a crazed surrealism of morals and theatrical magic. Shirtology - Jerome Bel, born in France, has performed extensively across Europe and has been described as 'the thinking man's choreographer'. Shirtology, a work in three parts, mixes humour and cultural icons. It examines the bizarre reality between man and his clothing and the underlining absurdity of texts and logos.
