Can a pie with a dash of the cook's soul change anyone's life? Having arrived unexpectedly, Aunt Mary, a long forgotten relative, draws Sandra and Adam into her world. She brings the summer meadow into their living-room and entices with happy memories of long ago. She offers irresistible treats - the fruits of her passion for food. Oh yes, she knows the best way to their hearts. Some combinations are more unusual than others - take cinnamon and port. Everything happens for a reason but for no particular purpose.
