Cocktails with Coward

Work:: Cocktails with Coward (S1667160105)

Production:: (T01423911626)

This exclusive Edinburgh preview is an opportunity to see Alistair McGowan as never before. In this brand new show, Alistair and classically trained actress and singer Charlotte Page perform a selection of Noel Coward's less well-known songs and poems at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this year in this one hour performance, Cocktails With Coward. Expect a lot of laughter and a few tears - proof positive that Coward was an unsurpassed observer of language, character and the human heart. The songs range from the iconic Mad About The Boy to the genial A Room With A View; from the poignant and haunting The Dream Is Over to the happy Charleston of Poor Little Rich Girl, and the jaunty anger of Twentieth Century Blues. The poems include the moving Honeymoon 1905, Nothing Is Lost, the hilarious Social Grace, and the romantic beauty of This Is to Let You Know...
