Crush is set in a 1960s boarding school with a proud tradition of free expression - but when a deeply conservative new Headmistress imposes sweeping reforms, replacing the school motto "Do what you do well" with "Learn or depart", it's time for the Upper Sixth to follow in the footsteps of their Suffragette founder and prove that rebel spirits can't be crushed. And star pupil Susan Smart has to learn that she won't find true love until she's brave enough to stand up and be counted.
