Aid Memoir

Aid Memoir

Work:: Aid Memoir (S1022167038)

Does charity begin at home? Martine, an aid worker from Kenya is running a refugee camp in the UK, a country. She is desperate to help Chelle, a 17-year-old refugee. Potential salvation appears in the form of Taz, a showbiz journalist who has come from Kenya to launch an appeal ? but Taz and Martine have history... This play looks at the patronising attitudes taken to those who have found themselves in humanitarian crisis. Are some disasters more ?worthy' than others?

CORONAVIRUS: All venues in the UK were shut down on March 16, 2020, and the restrictions were finally lifted on July 19, 2021. It is important to mention that the UK Theatre Web archive listings (iUKTDb) from March 2020 to July 2021 might not be accurate due to the lack of information regarding rescheduled and cancelled shows.
