Kiss My Scratch - Lucy McCormick/Bad Aunts/Alissa Anne Jeun Yi/Jack Sears/Katie Paterson/Maeve Scullion/Kerensa Diball

Kiss My Scratch

Work:: Kiss My Scratch (S0980186756)

A shameless come on/ work in progress night showcasing some of the most exciting and fresh material in experimental and alternative performance work. Kiss My Scratch presents an evening where anything can go - drag, cabaret, multimedia, comedy, queer and spoken word just to begin with. And all you need to do is grab a drink and dare yourself to see something different with the wondrous creators who dare to be.

Production:: Lucy McCormick/Bad Aunts/Alissa Anne Jeun Yi/Jack Sears/Katie Paterson/Maeve Scullion/Kerensa Diball (T997495501)

Lucy McCormick - Following her genre-defying smash-hit, Triple Threat, Lucy McCormick is back to crawl through the annals of history in this enthusiastically humiliating exploration of power and purpose. Joined by friends with benefits, Samir Kennedy and Ted Rodgers, Lucy is back with her trademark concoction of dance, song, absurdist art and minor breakdowns. Bad Aunts - Subverting the Saturday night staple, meet Maz, Jo and Dee, three women on the wrong side of 40 - or so they're told. Join the Aunts as they host their very own sitcom chat show, celebrating the foibles and value of community! Alissa Anne Jeun Yi - After her award-nominated Edinburgh debut Love Songs, Alissa Anne Jeun Yi presents a scratch of her juicy new show: BANANA. A comedy cabaret that aims to peel back the contradictions and complexities of what exactly it means to be a young, hot, mixed-race, British East Asian. And then some. Jack Sears - Cabaret & Drag Artiste, hailing from a small, working-class seaside town (and due to having a voice that struggles to sound genuine even when he tries) Jack aims to thank the women that uplifted, empowered and enthralled him as he grew up by creating work that celebrates and showcases the strength, resilience and loyalty that inspires him still to this day. Katie Paterson - Katie is a writer-performer who uses spoken word, sketch, improv and audience participation to discover how a story demands to be told, in this case a story about the peculiarities of being bisexual. Previously, Katie has performed at She Grrrowls, New Word Order, Chelsea College of Arts and in a very nice living room. Current show
