London Children's Ballet was founded in 1994 to give talented young dancers the opportunity to perform as part of a professional ballet production. It has an extensive repertoire of more than 13 ballets, including Snow White, Ballet Shoes, Rumpelstiltskin and The Secret Garden. London Children's Ballet are a dynamic company of young dancers aged between 9 and 15.

Irek Mukhamedov, makes his choreographic debut with this adventure story of mistaken identity set to Tim Hammond's beautiful and melodic original score. As the jaunty young beggar Tom Canty is swept protesting into luxurious tedium of royal life, we follow the exciting, funny, and moving journey of the true Prince Edward as he flees the clutches of Tom's violent father and seeks to reinstate himself as heir to the throne of England. LCB ballets have all been popular hits and brilliantly entertaining for the whole family.
