The play brings together a nascent being, an existential angel, and Sarah - the 89 year old wife of Abraham, tackling the apparently universal and seemingly natural desire for a child. A poignant and surreal exploration of surrogacy and the issues that surround it by Hampstead-based playwright and broadcaster Michelene Wandor. Wanted brings together a nascent being, an existential angel and 89 year old Sarah from the Bible. The play tackles a subject which touches us all, the eminently 'natural' desire for a child. Written with humour and warmth, Wanted is a modern play with a biblical twist.
