Raised on South Uist in the Outer Hebrides and deeply affected by WWII, Angus MacPhee's life is a tale of mental illness, lost traditions and magical hats of grass. Angus spent 50 years in a psychiatric hospital in Inverness. He did not speak a word and instead wove remarkable costumes from grass which now feature in the Collection de l'Art Brut, Switzerland. Featuring beautiful Gaelic singing and incredible grass replicas, Angus: Weaver of Grass is a moving and visually stunning performance from puppetry specialists Horse & Bamboo.
