Imogen's War

Work:: Imogen's War (S3688)

Wartime trainees on the canals. The story of the 'gels', mostly from good families, who went onto the waterways in wartime to the horror of their parents and the amusement of the regular boatees. Mummy wasn't keen on Imogen working on the canal boats even if it was wartime. "You'll pick up some frightful language"! In a superb performance we learn about life on the cut along with Imogen, sharing sad and hilarious moments.
