The Last Word

The Last WordT01682476615
Who in the end has the last word? Is it a child who speaks the most magical words until he is three years old and then lives without ever saying another word? Is it a mother who tries to fill the silence left by that child, who then remembers his last words really clearly and hopes for the time when he can finish speaking the thoughts he was about to say when the silence came? Or is it a society who tries to put a name to the child's silence - turning the name into a label and the label into a straitjacket in which it is almost impossible to breathe. The Last Word explores a real life story through the filter of two minds - the mother's and the child's, asking the questions - is our reality big enough for everyone? Do we only listen to those who shout the loudest - turning away from the silence of others because we don't think they have anything to say?
