The Poetry Army - Poetry Can F**k Off

Work:: The Poetry Army (S0837622584)

The longstanding collaboration between poet Heathcote Williams and performer Roy Hutchins, continues as Hutchins combines forces with actors and poets to give voice to a host of radical writers through history, such as Shakespeare, Blake and Pussy Riot: The Poetry Army.

Production:: Poetry Can F**k Off (T0633060774)

When Pussy Riot mocked President Putin with their punk-prayer they were sentenced to hard labour in a Russian state prison... Their fearless voices joined an elite band including Maya Angelou, Oscar Wilde, Billie Holiday, Emily Dickinson, Martin Luther King, Aboul-Quacem Echebbi, Lupe Fiasco and many others who have also spoken up against tyranny regardless of the personal consequences. In this unique show, Brainfruit's ensemble of performers, singers and musicians recreate the ?right words, in the right place' that have changed our world for the better while making our hearts pound.
