The Misfits of London

The Misfits of London

Work:: The Misfits of London (S01165646594)

A troupe of actors, a curious continental Foley artist and an exacting technician are looking to get their show re-commissioned by the bigwigs at BBC Radio. It's a style that could be a little too quirky for the stuffed shirts who run the studios in post-war London, and it definitely doesn't help when their actress has to go into hospital with a knee problem. With no time for rehearsals, Phyllis Ingleby joins a motley crew of misfits looking to spread a little happiness in a city re-building itself.

Brilliant play for a lunchtime break from the thud of daily work in dull uninspiring labour. Great stuff. Ben cutler came across brilliantly.

CORONAVIRUS: All venues in the UK were shut down on March 16, 2020, and the restrictions were finally lifted on July 19, 2021. It is important to mention that the UK Theatre Web archive listings (iUKTDb) from March 2020 to July 2021 might not be accurate due to the lack of information regarding rescheduled and cancelled shows.
