In October 1943 at the age 26 the German Jewish artists, Charlotte Saloman arrived in Auschwitz. She was five months pregnant and disappeared. At the age of 22 she had painted a series of 769 autobiographical paintings to make the painted operetta "Life? Or Theatre?".
