In this, her first visit to BITE, Pina Bausch brings a seminal work, re-invented for the new millennium. Kontakthof was first performed in 1978, a bittersweet study of innocence and experience, re-created here for a group of local residents, trained over 18 months at Tanztheater Wuppertal. Running time 180 mins with one interval. Presented in association with Cultural Industry.
